ILB - Independent Law Brokers Limited - is a private company, formed in 1993 to provide a wide range of specialist support services to lawyers (tm), Business and the Legal profession.
ILB - generically have been involved in case preparation and case management, for the busy practice whose own staff are more cost effective being based in the office. Or when staff are on leave or the case is out of town.
ILB - has provided its’ support services to over 460 firms. Many of them on a regular basis.
ILB - Has great experience in representing solicitor's practices and has Representatives
who are qualified to deal with the most challenging of clients and solicitors. Regular contact and feedback is maintained.
ILB acknowledges that maintaining client loyalty is of utmost importance and that the quality of service should meet the highest standards.
ILB (2004) - now provides a full audio and video enhancement facility – (full studio facilities and online editing suite).
ILB - now provides a full each way, analogue - digital transfer service. In plain English that means that we can transfer sound or picture, from one format to another. See

ILB can extract individual clips or video from multi screen recordings,
CCTV.
ILB - provides good quality, experience qualified Representatives to attend at Crown Court, competent in dealing with clients and witnesses.
ILB – With representatives countrywide ILB can cover every court in the country, even for short hearings.

WHY USE ILB - INDEPENDENT LAW BROKERS
Many Firms use ILB as back up support for existing staff in the event of Holidays, sickness, bad weather, increased caseloads, where existing members of staff are more valuable fee-earning in the office.
It is more advantageous to instruct ILB as a representative of the firm to attend short hearings or long trials, where a fee-earners time cannot be justified spent out at court.
ILB are paid for the work that they perform. Solicitors practices are not carrying the cost of the overhead for unproductive time.
ILB provides Transcriptions of PACE interviews. Interviews not under caution. Video Transcripts of child and “vulnerable witness” interviews. Covert recordings, whether Audio or video.
ILB Has the technology to duplicate or Copy CD-R's, DVDs, VHS-Videos, or convert from any format onto any format. Multiple Copying of videos. Most cases prior authority will be required and quotations can be provided on-line.

ILB rates are considered competitive and value for money which reflects the service that is provided.
WHY PRACTICES USE ILB
Services such as Transcriptions, Interpreting and Translating, firms use ILB as a disbursement service, where it makes no sense to perform the task "In House".
This is due to firms not being able to claim from the Legal Services
Commission for performing that work "In House", but can claim
time for checking the accuracy of the disbursement work done
